Application

• For completions where maximum pre-set prevention while running is desired.
• Used where well conditions prohibit mechanically set packers. It can be run as a single packer, as a lower packer in multiple packer hook-ups using dual or triple-string packers.
• For standard completions and can be configured for liner top isolation, monobore completions, stacked single selective completions and intervention less deepwater or extended reach completions.
• A “removable” packer for wells that demand the sealing performance of a permanent packer and the flexible workover options of a traditional retrievable packer developed for applications where remote actuation of the packer adds benefit and cost saving to the operator.

The hydrostatic Set-string Retrievable Packer is used where well conditions prohibit mechanically set packers. It can be run as a single packer or as a lower packer in multiple packer hook-ups using dual or triple string packers.

The  Packer is hydraulically activated by applying tubing pressure against a plugging device below the packer. The packer requires only straight pull to release. Triple seal multi-durometer elements ensure pressure integrity over a wide range of temperatures and conform easily to casing irregularities. No mandrel movement during setting allows stacked packer applications.

When packers contact wellborefluids, the proprietary elastomer swells throughadsorption / absorption to seal the annulus in any open or cased holes.
